Our current scheme is an incredibly exciting project which involves the conversion of an 1880’s gothic schoolhouse into 3 high end contemporary flats with a new build eco home situated on the adjacent plot.
Origen have restored the building to its original conditional externally, repairing defected stone and cleaning bricks to bring the vibrance back into its appearance.
Internally the flats have their own quirks, whether they be the vaulted oak ceilings, a mezzanine overlooking a stunning arched window or state of the art lighting design.
The new house constructed in lime mortar gives contrast in appearance against the grey bricks. This combined with the feature bricks and herringbone feature panels make this new building stand out as a beautifully designed home.
Complete with recessed solar panels, a sophisticated lighting system and a private garden/car park, this home received interest even before construction commenced.
